Rex needs housing

Rex Baker of DASFA, MileHiCon, and aka Southwynde of Hearthstone Community Church, Inc. is out of money and therefore needs to vacate his apartment. He has very little that he is moving, and therefore needs very little space. He will be unable to contribute to rent until his disability is approved; fortunately that is through the railroad and will be about 6 months rather than the traditional two years most SSDI claims take. He would like to move mid-March, so he has some time to clean up the apartment he's lived in for 15 years.

He basically needs flop space until his disability payments start; if the arrangement is good for both sides, he may stay there, paying some rent, afterwards. Ideally, he would stay in the city and county of Denver, because he's already working with their Social Services department. He cannot drive, so needs to be near bus lines or have someone who doesn't mind driving him around, at least to the nearest bus stop. "Near" in this case is a little less than a mile, so you don't have to be right on a bus line, just in the vicinity of one.

If you can help, please contact me (Margaret/Alia) via E-mail. fnorkyATearthlinkDOTnet.

(Yes, I have had some offers. I'm trying to give him a little bit of choice in where he moves.)

Keep mine
for emergencies--we'll make sure he isn't on the street. And he can flop for a month, 2 months... But for long term we'll find something else ;)

I can drive around, and a little less than a mile from the MAIN bus stop, and about 1/2 block from the 100 which runs hourly.

And I am in Jeffco...

Re: Keep mine
Oh, I'm keeping all of the previous offers. I'm simply trying to provide him with as much in the way of choices as possible.
