Well,

Rex is mostly moved. I already feel like someone beat me with my cane. We need to bring a few more things from the apartment tomorrow, and Kent and I laid claim to a set of shelves for the storage unit and a hanger pole, since we don't actually have a closet in our arena/bedroom. My throat feels like I've been gargling ground glass, and Doug says it looks like it's bleeding in one spot, so I'll be back at the doctor's on Monday.

Joe busted his ass on this one. We had lots of other help; Summer and Robin, Mitzi, Randi and Austin and then Randi again with a truck, Chuck, Clarsa, Dragonhorse, Jay, John M. fionnulaharp brought food which was promptly devoured. Trygve spent a lot of time at the apartment, and did what he enjoys, lifting heavy things. He even took the last of the storage out to the curb, wher Kent guarded it till Joe picked it up the last of the stuff for storage, And thanks to Al Patterson for the loan of the truck and the chainsaw. (we're not using the chainsaw for moving, really!) Kent headed up to Rex's new home with the last of the stuff for the house for today; Rex still has some stuff (just a bit) to take to his new home tomorrow. Plans are when we're conscious, Kent and I will meet Rex and Clarsa with Kent's van, we'll move the last few things, and then I can come home and fall over.

I'll be behind for a couple of days.both in e-mail and in LJ. I'll catch up eventually, especially if I'm ordered not to talk...

Bed calling.

Goodnight, Gracie.

Edited to correct LJ name.

Hmm. Considering this one and the post following...maybe you inhaled something kicked up in the moving? It could be less something viral and more some little mold spore that your system didn't like? Especially considering Rex's medical condition, could've been something he'd been reacting to for weeks/months/years and had stopped noticing.

A thought...possibly incorrect, but a thought.

Gotta say I'm with you on that. That apartment was toxic a lot of ways. A good rinse and a few days of babying the ol' immune system is definitely in order for all the participants.

Daaaamn.

Give everyone a couple doses of dandelion tea, then, you're talking about? Wau. Good thing Rex is out of that place, then. Yeep.

Considering a lot of the carpet had not been accessible to vacuum for years, there's a good chance of that, and I do have a couple of mold allergies.

I wasn't 100% going in, anyway. I'm going to go look for a bulb to do a nasal wash with, though, especially considering the bright scarlet of my throat today. I don't think I'd completely shaken the virus I was battling two weeks ago.

That, combined with what clarsa said, and I'm thinking it's more likely. Grab the bulb, get a good dandelion tea, or detox flush tea of choice, and hopefully it'll go away quickly.
